Spring is a time of renewal. It’s a time to get outside from hibernating all winter and enjoy all of the
lovely possibilities and perks of a new season. Here are my ten things to try this spring…

It might seem cliche, but freshening up your space and purging the old feels good after a long winter.
My style is all about reductionism right now. I’m finding clarity and calm in minimalism. Your surroundings
can really affect your thoughts, and energy, so I like to surround myself with plants and clean surfaces.

After wearing boots all winter, your toes deserve to feel the grass and/or sand beneath them!

Lobster? Gazpacho? Yes, please! Tis the season for fresh dishes and a new palette.

Wall art is an easy way to switch things up in your home, and at an affordable cost!
My shop, SS Print Shop is currently having a major sale (check it out here).

Cherry blossoms bloom this week, so why not get outside and get some oxygen! After being
cooped up all winter, it feels so good to go on walks and see all of nature rebirth.

Juicing is my favourite way to get my greens in (without the ick factor). Adding fruit always helps
sweeten things up! It’s also extremely refreshing during long, hot and humid days.

Being by the water has always been therapeutic to me. Whether it’s a small beach, big ocean, or just a harbour.
I love being still and spending time by the water enjoying gelato, or just sitting with my own thoughts.

For all of the beauty to bloom during Spring, a little (and a lot) of rain is involved!
Invest in a chic trench coat that will keep you stylish during the most unflattering rainfalls.

Does anyone else have major skincare issues each season? I recently had a treatment at Dermalogica, and
afterward a new skincare regime for the weather change. Your skin’s needs alter, and so your products may have to as well.

Adding more colour into my wardrobe has been one of my favourites for spring. If you’re a minimal gal,
try adding a statement shoe or accessory to give your look a little punch. My shoes are Manolo Blahniks from
last spring but you can try a similar pair here and pick up a bright accessory like mine, here.

Pack some sandwiches or order some takeout (I love Indian) and hit the beach or park for a little picnic.
This is one of my favourite things to do during the warmer months. Being Canadian and hibernating all winter
I definitely try to take advantage of as much time outdoors as I can. This is a fun (and yummy) way to spend time outside!

If you’ve followed my blog from the beginning, you’ll know flowers have always been my vice.
I love having fresh blooms in my office, by my bedside, on my vanity etc. at all times. Support a local
market and purchase a little something for yourself or for a friend to celebrate spring and kindness.
