One of the little luxuries in life I enjoy are face masks! Ever since I was probably 12 years old, I’d make DIY masks at home for fun. You could say this has become a ritual for me in my beauty routine. I love to try out new masks all the time, but these are the five I had on heavy rotation in the last few months to a year (that did wonders for my skin)…

Kora Turmeric Exfoliating Mask

I picked this up in the clean beauty section of Sephora, and was so impressed by the results! Whenever my pores are really congested and it just feels dull, this totally rejuvenates my skin. I feel really *clean* after using it, and go right in after with this Beauty Counter overnight peel at night. I’ve been doing this twice a week and have LOVED it. I’m curious to try more from the KORA line now (let me know if you have any recommendations in the comments below).

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask

This mask is, you guessed it, my go-to for travel! You can apply this as a primer for your makeup, as a quick 10 minute mask, or you can leave it overnight (or on a long flight) to fully absorb into your skin for a hydrating treatment. Being in airplanes can be very dehydrating to your skin and body, so this has really saved me! I used to always break out when I would fly (from my skin thinking it had to produce more oils whenever it got dehydrated) and I’d say this mask really minimized that pesky pimple popping up when I would land.

FRESH Rose Face Mask

I love the smell of rose, and so this mask is one of those luxurious treats (perfect while you’re taking a bath) I like to pamper myself with. It’s got a gel-like consistency that leaves your skin dewy, supple and hydrated. It also has aloe-vera gel which really soothes your skin, so this would be a great if you’re going on a tropical getaway and have been in the sun all day. Use this at night to soothe and calm your skin!

Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque

One of my biggest skin concerns over the years was not acne, it was dehydration, which would produce breakouts! Once I started using this mask, I found that I got some of that under control and it’s what my skin really needed. If your skin is stressed or really dry (which mine usually gets during the cold, winter months) this mask is for you!

Tula Exfoliating Face Mask

Use my code: STEPH20 to get 20% off!

Something I really needed to incorporate more of in my skincare routine was consistent exfoliation! I’d get so used to my cleanser, and then notice texture in my skin and overall dullness (leaving myself confused as to what I was doing wrong). Well, sister, I just needed to exfoliate! Get that dead skin off so your skin can breathe and glow! It’s got these plant-based, bio-degradable beads inside which I love on my skin as I am washing it off.

Let me know if you end up trying any of these masks or if you have one you love you can recommend to me down below! I love trying out new ones often, and pampering myself in this little way (even if it’s just for 10 minutes). The process is very restful and you feel fresh and clean after each time. I used to multi-task with a mask on, and now I like to just chill out, watch a show, take a bath or flip through a magazine to make it feel as relaxing as possible.

Happy Self-Caring! xoxo
