In 2012 I started a lifestyle blog as an outlet to stay creative in university. I dropped out of school, experienced the worst anxiety I had ever felt and simultaenteouly launched a successful shop (both online and in major retailers, formerly SS Print Shop, now called For Such A Time Shop). Blogging was a push for me to start my healing process. I had kept my mental health struggles private but since then, I’ve felt more open to sharing more than just style, travel and beauty content (although we do a bunch & I still love that aspect here). Here we can explore life (both the blessings and the trials that form us), here we can explore faith, entertaining, wellness, home decor and living well. Living well to me does not mean you have to spend more or be more
– it’s that art of just “being.”
Once I married my husband Neal Jolly in 2016, I felt a shift in where I wanted my content to go. I love being able to encourage others. I hope you feel like you’re getting tips from someone you trust as a friend, can have open conversations about things that matter, find resources (whether it’s tools to help manage your anxiety, work on your relationships, discover a cute pair of jeans or a new hotel to stay at on your next trip). I aim to bring it all to life through the visuals, products and experiences I share with you all in an attainable and accessible way.
