Almost every time I hit the beach, I’ll only be wearing sunscreen on my face, but for those times where you want a little coverage and glow (without it looking heavy) this is my routine! When we’re on vacation in hot spots I like to let my skin breathe and soak in the sea mist, I’ll usually wear minimal makeup for dinner (literally just bronzer). Here’s what products I used to get this look in the video below…

Supergoop! SPF 50 Sunscreen: I always put this on my face on its own when I’m exposing my skin to the sun or in this case under my makeup. Never skip this step for the beach!

Dr. Hauschka Day Cream: I love how this primes my skin for my foundation, it keeps it hydrated and helps my makeup last all day!

Nars Creamy Concealer (in Custard): If you have dark circles or blemishes like myself, then this is your best friend!

Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation (in light-medium-beige): When the temps are really hot I avoid liquid foundation, this powder by Tarte is my absolute favourite and even though it feels so light the coverage is so impressive! It’s made without parabens and it’s vegan and hypoallergenic! I am hooked!

bareMinerals All-Over Face Color: When hitting the beach, bronzer is a must! You want to play up that tan, and this gives you the most natural, sun-kissed looking glow.

Anastasia Brow Whiz: Eyebrows can shape your entire face, if you’re going for a no-makeup look, do me a favour and don’t forget the brows! So important!

Maybelline Brow Precise Perfecting Highlighter: This look is all about a sun kissed glow, and nothing looks more illuminating than accentuating that brow bone!

MAC Cremeblend Blush: For a natural, flushed face I love MAC’s creamy blush “Posey.”

Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder Highlighter: A fresh face is all in an illuminating powder! This one is my current fave, but this one and this are also amazing.

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment: It’s so important to take care of your lips when you’re being exposed to sun. This is my favourite lip balm for travel, it has SPF 15 and it’s super moisturizing (I find airplanes dry out my lips).

Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray: Finally, I set everything with a misting spray to give a dewy look and hold all of this work in place!

For the beach, I wouldn’t put mascara on, but I would curl my lashes just to give them a little lift. The key is to look as natural and makeup-free as possible with a sun-kissed glow.
