Hey loves! I’m finally bringing you a highly requested tutorial you all have asked me to do and that’s “how to cover dark under eye circles.” A little background: I was born with dark circles under my eyes — it’s hereditary and common in most Mediterranean people. I also have low iron (I take supplements and eat an iron-rich diet) but it doesn’t absorb well in my body (something I got from my mama, lol), so that darkens them quite a bit as well! It always prevented me from going makeup-free, because I would always get asked, “…are you sick?? did you get enough sleep last night?” The answer to all was, “nope, just born this way.”

Over the years I’ve tried countless products: eye creams, serums, concealers etc. I’ve been through the creasing, I’ve been through the “it’s not enough coverage,” but I did finally find my golden products that get the job done well and stay put throughout the day! Do I go makeup-free now? Heck yes! I used to feel insecure as a teen, but now I just own it. It’s so liberating to not care! Of course, I feel a little more fabulous with concealer (don’t we all)…
