Here are my thoughts on fashion rules: they’re meant to be broken. I’ve never followed the “don’t wear white after labour day” rule because it seems plain silly to me. Miss out on winter white? I don’t think so! Even though I’m a fan of it in the winter, I have never experimented with an all white look during the fall, but when paired with rich cognac accessories, I fell in love. Sleeveless turtlenecks are perfect for transitioning into the upcoming season, when styled with some cute booties (which you can also rock with a neutral summer dress you’re still not ready to put away into storage). I also love western-inspired riding boots and saddle bags because they are just so quintessentially fall. This one has enough room for all of my essentials for running around without having to lug around a huge tote. Wearing white after labour day isn’t as scary as they make it out to be! Pull it off by sticking to fall textures and fabrics rather than breezy summer sundresses to make it seasonally appropriate. XO
