Whenever we want heartfelt pieces of decor or entertaining supplies, we look no further than the amazing sellers that are local to us! I love supporting Canadian business and small shops (I after all have one myself). Discovering creatives that make these pieces with their hands just makes it that much more special for including in our Christmas decor. I alway score the most unique gifts and decor scouring Etsy that are memorable elements we cherish each year!

A piece that I thought was so unique for above our bookshelf was this gorgeous driftwood from Coral Wreath Designs shop that I hung off my favourite Santorini fine art photograph I got from my dear friend annawithlove’s etsy shop! I love that it has a boho vibe, and she creates so many unique wreaths and driftwood for the holidays if you want a non-traditional look. Coral Wreath Designs is a local Toronto seller on Etsy, so I loved that it arrived so quickly and that I could support someone in my own community. The Santorini print is where Neal and I actually got engaged so we love having that on our bookshelf all year round as a reminder, but it especially went perfectly with our Christmas decor this year.

This ornament will make the best gift for our parents this year! Lucy is our first baby and we always call her the GrandDoggy! Etsy is the best place for personalized gifts, and this shop has so many great  options – love this one too!

I love making our home feel cozy during the holidays, so I always look for chunky knits and cute seasonal throw pillows to incorporate. I found this long Christmas pillow from a farmhouse inspired Etsy shop – I love neutral linens! It’s a perfect piece for a reading nook, living room or even on your bed to add a holiday touch! They also sell these vintage looking stockings that I think would be so quaint on a fireplace that is totally our neutral, minimal style and I love these number pillows as well. I always get asked about my chunky knit blankets and I find them all on Etsy – they make a great gift or even just to enjoy for yourself! I get a ton of use out of mine and think the texture looks beautiful in any place in your home (bedroom, couch, chair etc.), it’s a great styling piece!

I fell in love with this wooden piece by AmyLettering, a local Toronto seller! It gives our bookshelf a rustic vibe, and it’s such a meaningful piece to have as a reminder this season (and always) to just be still. Amy wrote the cutest hand written letter she included in the order, thanking me for supporting her small shop as it’s helping her pay for her school. I just loved that! Another reason why I love Etsy and how it can connect a community to pour into each other!

Hope you all enjoyed this post and that it encourages you to shop locally through Etsy! It’s always been one of my favourite places to shop for holidays, gifts, our wedding (we got a bunch of stuff customized from there) and more!

Thank You to Etsy for partnering on this post and thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog! All opinions are my own.Â
