For some of you Thanksgiving may not even be on your radar just yet, but Canada celebrates this long weekend! We have our Thanksgiving a month before America does (in case you didn’t know). It’s never too early to think about decorating though (in my opinion). Thanksgiving is something I participate in every single day. I wake up and go to sleep on thoughts of gratitude, thanking God for every blessing I received that day. A day dedicated to gathering and celebrating blessings is one that gets me most excited! Giving thanks every day has made me a happier person, especially after reading this book (which inspired this print of mine), you will learn just how powerful gratitude is and how much God loves you.
Here are some thoughtful and pretty ways to celebrate in true SS style this year:

You are too cute! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Just highlighted those cute napkins on my blog, too — great minds think alike! The West Elm Shannon Murray plates are amazing… coveting those now, as well. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! 🙂

Being Austrian I never really thought about Thanksgiving, but now that I now quite a few Americans here in my city and even attended my firs Thanksgiving dinner last year I got more familiar with the concept. I really love the idea of the whole family getting together and thinking or talking about what you are grateful for… We definitely don't do it often enough. Enjoy your long weekend!!
