For those of us who celebrate the Resurrection of Christ and love being in our community, worshiping together — this year, it’s going to look different. There’s something that I think can be really special for Easter 2020 and that’s being home alone with Jesus. I personally feel there is nothing more intimate than that (although I love my church), because it’s our individual relationship with Him that is the heart of following Jesus. Many churches will be having online live streams and I have included a worship playlist below of some of my favourite songs as well you can blast throughout your home and praise God. He is still good, even in the midst of all of this. We can be together with our families, or through bible study FaceTime, we can sing songs and watch The Bible story, love on and pray for each other and do Easter egg hunts in the yard. Easter is not cancelled, friends! Church is the body of Christ, not a building and that means church is you and I who believe. What a beautiful thing!
Incorporate and take whatever you like from this list I made above. There are ways to celebrate and honour Easter, even from home this year! Save it to your phone or share it on social media/with friends to give more ideas for your community to look forward to celebrating at home.
Save the above image to your phone and download your own playlist on YouTube, Spotify or Apple for yourself! These are some of the worship songs I love and extra focused on the joy of resurrection and how GOOD Easter truly is.

May you know how loved you are. Jesus died for you and me — there is nothing more precious than that gift that we are so unworthy of, but one I am so grateful for. I pray your Easter this year is special no matter how you celebrate, what you have or don’t have. God is with you always and nothing can separate you from His love. Not a virus, not death, not disease, not space or time. You are loved!
Peace and Grace,
