OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS AS MR & MRS.

This Christmas means a little more to us this year, because it’s our first as a married couple. Having our own place to decorate, making new memories and traditions is something I’ve always looked forward to with Neal. We put up our tree earlier than most this year because we just couldn’t wait to start enjoying this magical season. We like to make our place really cozy, as we are huge homebodies! This pillow was just too cute for words. I like that it can be used throughout seasons, and isn’t too loud where it feels like it can only be pulled out during Christmas, we can have it all winter long!

We really wanted to personalize our tree and have a keepsake to remember our first Christmas, so I sourced this Etsy seller to create some custom ornaments. My husband and I share the last name “Jolly” so we are having a lot of fun with that in our holiday decor *wink*

Seasonal mugs are a must, I’m convinced they make hot chocolate taste better! This one is very festive and just makes me think of carollers. Another keepsake I love is this spoon you can pop in a stocking stuffer for your significant other to go with tea, coffee etc. it’s such a sweet sentiment!

These ornaments are really something special because they have handwritten Christmas hymns (Silent Night, Joy to the World, Angels from the realm of Glory) on them. I love adding intentional pieces like this to our home that remind us what the season is all about.
