The holiday season is here and I always find this time of year moves so fast between end of year work projects, holiday parties, shopping, gift wrapping, hosting & more! I’m all about simplifying this season to enjoy what the holidays are really about, and making the process a pleasure. I recently partnered up with RBC and became an RBC Visa Infinite Avion card holder. Now that I’m an #Avioner I can’t believe the amazing benefits of owning this card and how it can make life, travel and now, the holidays more enjoyable!

We got the RBC Visa Infinite #Avion card because we love to travel and get rewards when we shop to redeem when we take trips. They’ve delivered an amazing holiday experience we got to enjoy this week and I am so excited to share more about it. Neal and I had some holiday shopping and blog pulls to do the other day at Yorkdale Shopping Centre here in Toronto and we took full advantage of the amazing RBC Avion Holiday Boutique. It was so memorable and relaxing, which to be honest shopping at malls don’t really make me feel “relaxed.” Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the mall at this time of year, Avioners can pop into their boutique and enjoy sips, snacks, valet parking, gift wrapping, coat check, a cozy lounge and so much more (and all of it complimentary!)…

 

The first thing we did (after our eyes were amazed by all of the decorations and twinkling lights), was drop off our shopping bags and Neal had his coat checked. It’s so nice to not have to lug around everything around the mall, or overheat in your winter coat shopping! I dropped off some presents to be wrapped which you can do right from the Avion Passport app and/or tablets in the boutique. While they were getting wrapped, Neal and I hit up the cafe for the hot chocolate! They had this cute station where you could dress up your hot cocoa with marshmallows, sprinkles, candy canes and more. They also had delicious lemon or cucumber water, coffee and tea. I saw a few kids absolutely loving the hot chocolate bar (so fun for mums and dads that bring their kids with them holiday shopping) and what can I say, I love myself a good cup of hot cocoa! They also had these amazing shortbread chocolate chip cookies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I took my sips and snacks and settled into the lounge, cozying up to all of the Indigo blankets and pillows among the Christmas trees and grabbed a few magazines to enjoy my snacks. It felt as if I was at home, just relaxing, but I was in a mall! I absolutely loved the vibes, the music, the friendly staff and all of the benefits we got to enjoy – I cant wait to go back now when I have to get more gifts for those on my list! Avioners also get to enjoy free wifi in the boutique, which if you have to pop on to post a quick Instagram or check some e-mails, this is great. Sometimes I can be at the mall for a few hours pulling looks for my blog, getting errands done and now holiday shopping, so I loved that this space allowed me to decompress as an Avion cardholder, but I could also get a little bit of work done without using up all of my data. Neal and I are careful about the credit cards we sign up for and look for ones that have the best rewards and benefits. I love that RBC Avion goes above and beyond the holiday season to treat their Avioners to an experience like this during one of the busiest (and for most, stressful) times of the year.
