Neal and I are celebrating our 4 year wedding anniversary on July 3rd! This year looks a little different, as we’d usually be travelling somewhere to commemorate (like the above photo in Croatia…ah memories). We can’t complain — we have our health, grateful for our marriage, we love our home and can enjoy it in our own special ways. If you’re celebrating something or just want to create a fun date night (that’s safe), here are some cute ideas I found on Pinterest…

Have a picnic in a park or a beach (with safe distance from others)! This O.C./LA company called the Picnic Collective does pop up picnic set ups for special occasions. You can re-create your own with a few items I linked below…

Neal and I love winding down with a charcuterie board and some fun cocktails! We have the best conversations and it’s just a relaxing way to graze, feeling no rush or anywhere to be. Here are some of my charcuterie board staples below…

One of my favourite internet humans is Desi Perkins and her backyard is just pinterest goals in and of itself, but I love this outdoor movie night she created for her husband’s birthday! You can grab a video projector and screen kit off Amazon and re-create it in your yard too. Just add some lanterns/candles, pillows, a blanket, takeout and popcorn and you are set!

If you live nearby a beach, grabbing a box of pizza and a blanket and watching the sunset would be so romantic and cozy!

Set up a cute indoor tent that you can cozy up in and watch your favourite movies or just listen to music and hang. Add some string lights (for a cozy feel) and all of your fluffy pillows and blankets!!

Drive in theatres are making a comeback in 2020! This safe way to watch a movie in public in the comfort of your own car feels old school but very NOW (haha). See if you have one nearby your home and catch an old flick.
Hope you enjoyed these tips! xoxo
