Sweater: Old Navy c/o | Denim: Old Navy c/o
Working from home can be tempting to stay in pjs all day, but I try to at least make an effort every morning to get dressed. It might sound strange, but by doing this simple step, I feel way more productive. I still want to be comfortable, so I love working in Old Navy’s super soft denim. They work for at home lounging, lunch with friends, travel (especially airplanes) or you can dress them up for a date night out. Here’s how I style this innovative denim for day to night…
After my regular morning routine, I go down to my office to start my work day at around 9:00 AM. I’ll publish my blogpost, check Instagram and snapchat, reply to comments and any urgent e-mails.
TIP: For a casual look try a fitted tank tucked into your denim with an open cardigan over top. A simple tee or sweater always works when working from home as well (since the only person that sees me is the mailman dropping off packages or my dog, haha!).
Top: Old Navy c/o | Denim: Old Navy c/o | Glasses: Celine
After an hour in front of the computer, I take a little break to make some tea and then structure the rest of my tasks I need to tackle that day. I go back to continuing to edit photos for posts, responding to e-mails etc.
Once my computer tasks are completed, that’s when I’ll go upstairs to my room to pull looks and steam them for upcoming photo-shoots. I like to shoot either early morning or around sunset, but during the week in the winter I can get away with a mid-day shoot because of the clouds. This Old Navy trench is perfect for when the weather becomes more mild. It looks great over a casual sweater and jeans (like my outfit here), or a pretty dress (how it’s styled on my garment rack).
TIP: A fun graphic sweater adds character to your outfit. If it’s a really cold day, i’ll layer an oversized white button up shirt underneath.
Time to get ready for date night!
TIP: A bold lip and a pair of pumps takes your casual denim to the next level and dresses it up for dinner. I added a button up shirt and blazer to my super soft denim.
Thanks for following along my day from start to finish! I hope you enjoyed this post and found these tips helpful…xo

Hi Stephanie! Where is the white cutout dress from that you paired with the trench?! It’s adorable! -Nikki
Love seeing your day-to-day process. I also like how you used those x:00AM time stamps. Awesome.
PS: Love the trench with that dress. Classic and the details are to die for.
I like to shoot in the morning cause I like to go for a bright, dreamy look but the struggle is real to get ready for it in the morning lmao

I just bought a pair of Paige jeans and another pair of Old Navy Rockstars. I totally love the Old Navy jeans and think they feel like pajamas. I think I might be done buying designer jeans…..
I adore that sweater! Anything with French in it… 😉

Busy day. I agree changing from pijamas can be a real break through from being lazy all day and being productive all day. The dinner outfit is perfect.
