I am all about quick, easy and delicious recipes, especially when hosting a holiday party! I’ve been looking up some on Pinterest (you can follow me on there) and by no surprise, a lot of my favourites involve CHEESE. Here are a few I found that are inspiring my next spread…

Baked Goat Cheese Cigars with Honey & Thyme

I love filo pastry (it’s what a lot of appetizers in my culture *i’m Macedonian* are made of). It’s light so you can enjoy these without getting too full before dinner. Honey and thyme are simple ingredients that are still so flavourful – this combo sounds delicious!

Charcuterie Board

I created this one for the fall, but this works just as well for the holidays! I’d add festive touches of rosemary and cranberries for the winter. These are always a hit and gather everyone around. A mix of sweet and savoury is always good. Read more of my tips in this post on how to create the perfect charcuterie board.

Caprese Salad Christmas Wreath

Another simple, yet festive looking appetizer platter you can put together in minutes! Add some rosemary around to garnish and really make it look like a wreath, with balsamic glaze in the center! YUM!

Mini Cheese Ball Bites

Say goodbye to cake pops, these bites are taking over! You could even tie cute little bows to the pretzel sticks to dress these up. Love that these are so easy to create and look beautiful styled on a plate for your guests.

Winter Kale Salad

I love making kale salad with pomegranate and goat cheese for the winter, but you can add a few more ingredients to beef it up with this recipe I found. I love that the colours looks so festive as well put together (in addition to being delicious).

Cheese & Olive Wreath

Such an easy way to display cheese cubes and olives, just style rosemary on a round plate and you can even add a little red bow to make it look more like a wreath!
