Going into the first trimester I had no idea what to expect. I braced myself that I could be really, really sick and while I definitely had moments, I am thankful I was able to manage. I really listened to my body in these first few weeks and months and took a lot of time to rest and nourish my body. I had a dull nausea daily that would kick up around 4-5pm every night (I would go to bed extremely early) and make sure I was eating and snacking frequently to curb that hunger and nausea.
