Happy Friday Babes! This week has been an interesting one, I had a few bug bites that I got an allergic reaction to, so I’ve pretty much been drowsy on Benadryl (which is totally hilarious, my hubs loves to make videos of me out of it!), icing my foot and trying to recalibrate! It’s been funny and uncomfortable! In other news, I can’t believe next week is September, and I’m getting really excited for fall. This weekend we’re going to spend time with family, enjoy Lucy and the sunshine.
Here’s what I’ve been inspired by lately:
- This blogpost by Ann Voskamp stopped me in my tracks (excerpt: “Life’s not about growing your career, your bank account, your retirement fund, your platform, your status — life’s about growing your soul”)
- Easy, quick & healthy recipes from Life Made Sweeter
- The new Magnolia Journal focused a lot on gratitude this month and I loved Joanna Gaine’s approach to everyday chores like laundry (be grateful for abundance), cooking (be grateful to serve your family in a way that nourishes them) and driving (sometimes the best convos happen here) — love that outlook and a great reminder to not complain about mundane tasks.
- John Mark Comer’s podcasts from Bridgetown Church have been filling up my cup!
That’s it for now loves! Pour yourself a nice glass of red wine and have a great weekend! xoxo
