Single or taken, Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to get together with your best gals and show some love! You could do something fun like a spa day or skating outside — whatever it is you decide to do, starting or ending the day of activities with some cozy hot chocolate and sweets at home is the perfect gathering! You’ve probably seen me share my love for HomeSense (we have so much decor, furniture etc. from there in our condo) and I especially love going there for seasonal and holiday goods. They have the sweetest party supplies, napkins, treats, paper goods and I grabbed everything here for under $200! That includes decor, vases, throw blankets, mugs and everything on the table (including those delicious macarons).
I hope you have women you do life with that lift you up, speak words of encouragement over you and remind you of who you are becoming. So, while this month can be so focused on having a significant other or a date for Valentine’s Day, i’d encourage you to reach out to your lady loves. Reach out to the single ones, the married ones, the mama ones, the seasoned ones, the younger ones and pour into them. We all could use some extra love from one woman to another. Hope this post inspires you to host your own gathering and to be intentional with the time you spend…
You can exchange gifts (perhaps white elephant style, bring some pampering, beauty goodies) – I also love Homesense for things like that or just catch up over some hot chocolate but the purpose is to bring everyone together. There’s nothing I don’t love about *love month* — chocolate, flowers, pink, hearts (it’s everything I stand for), and it doesn’t have to be cheesy! Making quality time to throw love on your girls is so important.
“I love it when women love themselves. I love it when women are learning to love themselves. I love it when women inspire other women to love themselves.”
Thank you to Homesense for partnering on this post & thank YOU for supporting the partners that support this blog (to bring you free content daily). xoxo
