We are all pretty familiar with colour blocking now I am sure, but I have recently found a love for something I like to call “ombre colour blocking.” Taking a piece, and pairing it with another in the same colour story, in a lighter hue. When I am feeling like a fun outfit, I think dressing in colour is the best way to do it. On the bottom left is me pairing red H&M pants, a pink J.Crew top and skinny leopard belt, with nude pumps (for my Framework Mag feature seen here, on pg.90). I took a page out of SJP’s book, but threw in a little leopard for my own touch. Instead of pairing colour with white or black, try going for something monochromatic to get you out of the same routine.

Loved this look on you! Great way to keep colour in our wardrobes during the winter months.
I love this! I have been meaning to try it but just haven't yet. I need to just go for it!

I love this look — and the one of Emily from C&C is one of my favorites! xo

I've been toying with the idea of wearing a color combo like this recently. I love the look on Emily, and the pieces you chose to recreate it are perfect!

Ahhh, that outfit is amazing!!
I don't know if I would call it ombre but I LOVE pink and red together! Such good timing for Valentine's Day too.

Definitely going to try this for spring; our tendency is to pair opposing shades but I like the idea of colors along a gradient!
