One thing I’ve learned being a Canadian and surviving many winters feeling defeated in the fashion department is to invest in a good coat! I’ve partnered up with Ann Taylor today to share this look. I was always tempted to reach for my parka, even on mild days because despite the fact that I live in a climate that’s cold nine months out of the year, I’m a wimp. I love to have a variety of cute coats I can select from, because you’re outfit in Canada for the winter is basically your outerwear! You barely take it off when you’re out and about. I love that this Ann Taylor plaid coat goes with just about everything, you can pair it with neutrals or a pop of colour like a red turtleneck that’s festive for the season.
