That switch from winter to spring can be touch & go where I live. The first weekend of spring was beautiful and sunny, and already a forecast shares lovely news that we’ll be having snow again on thursday! I’ve found the art in transitional dressing to be tricky, but with a few key pieces from J.Crew – I survived my first test of wonky weather!
Trench Coat: This is a spring staple through and through. It’s perfect for the rain we’ll be getting this season, and this one actually keeps you warm when there’s a chill! (Trench, J.Crew)
Thin Turtleneck: Most of us ready to pack our turtlenecks away, but don’t underestimate this basic that layers wonderfully under coats, sweaters etc. It’s light enough to wear without a jacket, but will keep you comfortable when it cools in the evening. (Turtleneck, J.Crew)
Martie Pant: Perfect with heels to wear to work – and easy to dress down with a pair of sneakers so you can run errands! I love the stretch cotton. (Martie Pant, J.Crew)
Trench Coat: J.Crew | Turtleneck: J.Crew | Pants: J.Crew | Sneakers: Seavees x J.Crew all c/o
Thank You to J.Crew for sponsoring this post.Â

YES, love J. Crew’s neutrals. Not really a fan of all the bright colours and plaid I see sometimes. I’ve been looking for a nice light turtleneck for layering. Will check this out.
