Happy Monday! Starting the week off with a look you can wear to work since you all asked for more ideas of what you can wear to the office. I don’t work in an office, but I occasionally dress up for meetings/events for my job. Keeping hem lines/dress codes in mind, if you’re in a corporate place that allows for a little more fun a pleated midi skirt and sweater would be such a cute transitional combo while the weather is still nice. Leopard has always been my favourite in the fall and even though it can seem like a loud print, you can tame it down by styling other neutrals (like this cream sweater and nude shoes/accessories).
In case you need some girl boss inspiration, I’ve got a great business podcast to share! I usually listen to faith-based podcasts, but I do have a few business focused shows that I tune in to now and then to get some helpful advice/inspiration. I take things with a grain of salt, and not everything they say or believe is what I align myself with, but I can draw some good nuggets here and there. It’s good to expand your mind and whenever a friend recommends a podcast to me, I always check them out because I love learning and discovering new knowledge out there. All to say, recently the one I have loved the most and will actually turn on everyday is the Rise Podcast from Rachel Hollis.
I have loved Rach ever since I read her book “Girl, Wash Your Face.” It feels like your pal giving you a pep talk. She’s a great communicator and gives you the honest to goodness truth about everything in her life from how she balances being a mom/wife + entrepreneurship, to practical business tips you can implement (she’s rocking a multi-million dollar company with her husband), to the importance of self love. Rachel and her husband also have a podcast together called Rise Together, which I can personally relate to as I work full-time with my husband as well. They also tackle really good and helpful relationship stuff that’s given us good insight (Neal loves it too!) we usually have it on while we’re cleaning up or cooking. She also got me, because she’s a believer, which makes me connect to her even more! I just wanted to share her with you all in case you need something to plug in to and get motivated for your work week ahead. Go kill it! xoxo

Love your skirt! 😉

I loved how you paired this outfit! I definitely need that leopard skirt in my closet. I feel like your blog & Instagram post have been connecting with me more and more. While I normally listen to the faith-based podcast, I enjoy business related podcast. My favourite is ‘How I built this.’
I just got into podcasts and totally will be looking into the ones you suggested! Thanks for sharing! Love your leopard print skirt!
