Mother’s Day the SS-way // Fool-Proof Gifts

Books: I love giving books as gifts to everyone in general — but with mom you can have more fun. I’ve heard this is an amazing one for new/expecting mommy’s: Bringing Up Bebe. I also love devotionals as gifts, The Confident Mom by Joyce Meyer is a great one! Lastly, coffee table books or cookbooks are always a nice treat too! Gwyneth Paltrow just came out with another great one for busy schedules (perfect for my mama).

Beauty: New makeup or skincare will always win a mom’s heart! I’d recommend giving her something she won’t typically splurge on herself, like a quality face cream. La Mer is super pricey — but worth it, and a comparable product is the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Face Cream. It’s super thick and moisturizing.

Summer Essentials: Mother’s Day lands right in the middle of spring, which leaves opportunity to freshen up her wardrobe by picking her up a new pair of sandals or sunnies for the summer season ahead!

Jewels: You can’t go wrong with some jewelry, I think these Kendra Scott earrings are so sweet!

Spa Time: Bring the spa home for mom and encourage to make some time for herself by creating a little bundle (i.e. a robe, candles and a face mask — this one is a nice add on).

Something New: Take note of something she’s in need of, like a purse or a wallet that’s falling apart and treat her to something new! This Henri Bendel wallet is so handy, because it literally has a spot for everything! I have it in cream and I am obsessed with mine. My mama has been eyeing it as well!

Hope this was a helpful little guide to you, let me know in the comments below what you’re doing for Mother’s Day! We are taking ours out for brunch 🙂
