NEUTRAL MAKEUP

Much like my clothing choices, when it comes to makeup I like to go for a more neutral approach. I like to stay in the ivory, nude, brown palette as I think it compliments my skin tone best. Here are some of my go-to beauty picks I’ve loved for years that are always in my makeup bag…

Nars Creamy Concealer (in Custard) is a cult fave (and it is for a reason!). I have really dark circles under my eyes naturally since I was little, and I’ve tried all of the concealers there is to try in the beauty world. This one has the best coverage that lasts all day. I smile a lot, so my under eye creases, but if you just add a bit of Laura Mercier’s secret brightening powder underneath, it locks it in!

The Naked Basics Palette is another go-to of mine (it’s the perfect size for travel too). I usually swipe on a vanilla shade over my lids and a little brown in the crease. If I’m going out in the evening, I’ll give myself a little cat eye with the black powder to lock in over my liquid liner! I keep it pretty simple.

When it comes to lips, I always stay in the nudes. I just don’t particularly like colour on my lips, and I find I’m the most confident in Tom Ford’s Lipstick in “Revolve Around Me.” I add a gloss to the centre of my lips to make them appear fuller because I have the tinniest lips on planet earth!
