Hola! If you’re reading this it’s probably because you have the same affinity for oceans, spanish, and luxury all-inclusive vacations as I do! For the past two years, I’ve been an Air Transat ambassador and have nothing but great things to say about every trip I’ve taken with them. I have had bad travel anxiety in the past and can honestly say I’ve always felt the most relaxed flying this airline which is a really important part of traveling and enjoying my vacations. They offer amazing packages and flights, and I occasionally get sent on some to review (dream job). If you missed my past posts with them we did a European Cruise and a big Mexico trip touring a bunch of their great all-inclusive resorts. In this post, we’re headed to PUNTA CANA in the beautiful Dominican Republic. I know a lot of you are planning spring break trips, so hopefully my tips/review below will help make planning your next trip a breeze!
HOW WE FLEW: If you can, always fly Option Plus with Air Transat! I swear by it. I’ve told so many of my friends and family about this, and they are hooked now too (seriously). It’s basically “treating yourself” in Economy Class. You get one additional piece of checked baggage (Middle East, Europe, Down South & USA), priority boarding (and baggage handling, no waiting forever at arrivals), a comfort kit on-board (with a cozy blanket I love), an alcoholic beverage and a meal or treat from their Bistro Menu are just a few perks I love. We always get the Daniel Vezina menu as an extra luxurious treat when flying — and it is incredible!
WHERE WE STAYED: We got to spend a week at The Royal Suites Turquesa Hotel which is an adults-only all-inclusive resort located in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It’s the perfect place to escape winter, and relax! Neal and I don’t stay out late and party (there’s definitely an area you can have fun like that on the resort), but during the day it’s nice and mellow. A huge focus is put on wellness, which I’ll dive in to more below…
Ocean View, King Size Bed + Grand Tub! You also get a personal butler that is there to help you with anything you might need or want to do which was extremely convenient.
These donut milkshakes were my weakness everyday (and yes they’re all apart of your all-inclusive package!)
Guests of TRS Turquesa Hotel have complimentary access to the hydrotherapy facilities of Zentropia Spa, which we used practically every day! I loved that this resort had such a great focus on wellness, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. There’s an area you can take a shower before you hop in the hydrotherapies and in there you’ll find clay masks you can help yourself to! I loved giving myself a little treatment during the week in this spot. Little things like this make your stay so luxurious! They also had a smoothie bar in the spa that served healthy snacks (great post-workout as well, their gym was gorgeous).
WHAT WE ATE:
These donut milkshakes were in the lobby every afternoon (go after 3pm for a treat) and I had way too many of them than I would like to admit. Absolutely delicious! They also make for a great photo opp (we took ours out to the beach on the first night to watch the sunset).
We loved the Italian and Teppanyaki a la carte restaurants the best! I was also a huge fan of their fish and lobster.
Mornings were extra serene with yoga on the beach. There is something about the ocean that makes you feel so centred!
P.S. Wifi is excellent all over the resort, so you can post that perfect vacation snap!
To BOOK this exact vacation head over to Air Transat to read more!
Thank You to Air Transat for partnering on this post and for a beautiful week in the Dominican Republic. All opinions are my own.

Everything looks perfect <3
I love air transit the only way we will travel
Such a beautiful vacation! I have a question for you that I really hope you’ll answer for me, haha! How do you whiten your teeth?! I’ve been trying to figure this out for FOREVER and all my region offers is Zoom, which I can’t do bc I have super sensitive teeth. I couldn’t even do Crest white strips 🙁 and everyone wants a whiter, brighter smile! I’ve loved following your blog and style, especially beauty, so I’d love to know your advice and what you’ve personally done for this 🙂
Thanks love! I don’t do anything for them, I just stay away from coffee, tea and wine (I drink once in a while) and drink a lot of water so I guess that helps! Wish I had a better answer. I have heard of this banana trick (you rub the inside of a banana peel against your teeth and wait 10 minutes before rinsing out). It’s a natural option you can google to learn more (not sure if it works but have heard of it) might help with your sensitivity! xoxo
