In just a few days Neal and I are getting hitched, so to celebrate we threw a little rehearsal dinner/house warming party at our new condo with our closest family and friends. We wanted to have our rehearsal the week before our wedding so we could really enjoy it and be present, instead of feeling flustered and rushed the day before. We went to our church to rehearse the ceremony (which was so fun and cannot believe we are doing the real thing in just a few days), and then we brought everyone back to our condo. It was a hot summer night, so we wanted to serve a signature cocktail that would be light, delicious and refreshing. See the recipe & a few more details from our party below…
Dress: Rachel Pally
Belvedere Peach Nectar SpritzÂ
1.5oz/45ml Belvedere Peach Nectar
3.5oz/100ml Ginger Ale or Sparkling Water
Pour over ice and garnish with sliced peaches and a sprig of thyme.
Our little sweet table included an Oreo cookie bar (for my nieces and nephews who are in our wedding party), almond milk shots and a simple vanilla cake (with a pretty pink peony).
Most of you know my fiancé’s last name is Jolly, so we wanted to add a fun touch to the table with these marquee lights to celebrate our new family name together.
My almost hubby, looking handsome…
