One of my favourite orders at Starbucks during the warmer months is the Strawberry Acai refresher with coconut milk! I was scrolling through Pinterest the other day and found this recipe from the blog 40 Aprons, to recreate it at home in a healthier way. It’s perfect for a little afternoon pick me up, even though it’s caffeine free (unlike the Starbucks one). I did add some stevia (even though the recipe didn’t call for it) just to make it a touch sweeter. It’s great if you’re on Whole30, are Vegan and caffeine-free. Ingredients + Recipe:
- Pour 1/4 cup of freeze dried strawberries into your glass first (I found them in the baby food aisle)
- Add in one can of Perrier Strawberry Sparkling Water (let it fizzle and steep for a minute)
- Add in 1/2 cup of Coconut Milk (I use Califia farms, even though the original recipe calls for it to be form a carton) and stir it up with some ice!
- You can add a touch of Stevia for sweetness (like I did)
