I love to travel, and what’s great about that is my job allows me to do quite a bit of it (see more here).
Sometimes, a girl needs to get away, but can’t commit to a flight and week away. I have never underestimated
how a little “staycation” can be just the trick to recharge your battery! During Toronto Fashion Week (also known
as World Mastercard Fashion Week), I took residence at The Ivy at Verity, a small and intimate boutique hotel.
The Verity is a women’s club that supports and allows women to better manage and lead their busy lives.
Getting away to enjoy the Sweetgrass Spa facilities, eat breakfast in bed, a delicious dinner at George
and enjoy tea in the lounge was just what I needed during the hustle and bustle of fashion week (and life).
The library was one of my favourite aspects of the hotel, where you could sit and find
inspiration from the countless books. Tucked away in the heart of Toronto, The Ivy at Verity
is a tranquil, soothing oasis focused on helping women succeed in work. Something we need more of!
Networking with other women, taking a day or two to check out and relax — we are our better
selves when we take care of ourselves! Take a peek at my relaxing mid-week escape at The Ivy…

Each room has a different vibe, we loved staying in Room Three.

Each spacious room has a lovely balcony overlooking a courtyard.
Enjoying some “me” time, journaling in my Paris Pocketbook.

A dip in the pool at Sweetgrass Spa, followed by a relaxing swedish massage.
The ridiculously comfortable chez!
There is nothing overrated about a bubble bath. Pure bliss!
Fact: Breakfast is always better in bed.
A huge thank you to The Ivy at Verity for the incredible stay and hospitality!
