Aloha! We finally made it to Maui after two flights, one layover, crazy jet lag and an acai bowl later! Getting to Hawaii was tiring, but SO worth it! The first day we recovered from the long flight and time difference by waking up and fetching ourselves some massive acai bowls (you guys know I’m obsessed and make these at home, so naturally I couldn’t wait). We swam, hung out by the pool at our airbnb (which was great because we landed so late and needed a place to crash asap), did a Target run (sigh, I miss my beloved Target runs in Canada since they shut down there), rested and relaxed. Before we left I was battling what was going to turn into a cold as well, but what can I say, I think Hawaii has healed me! *wink*
Yesterday we checked in at the Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea and guys I am so excited to share more from this beautiful property! I love the comfort and hospitality of Fairmont hotels which is why we frequent them so often. I wore some really comfy jogger pants with a fun print for the drive over to Wailea, and a cute pink frilly top — both from Anthropologie. My Joie sandals finally got to come out and play as well as these really affordable sunnies from Nordstrom I picked up just before we left!
Now that our jet lag is behind us (not gonna lie I still kind of feel it), we are ready to start adventuring! We are making a Maui travel guide and Vlog (be sure to subscribe), so stay tuned for that as well! If you have any recommendations, please let me know in the comments below, I got so many great ones from my Instagram fan (thank you if you commented with suggestions!).
