As most of you may know, I recently got back from the beautiful, sunny island of Cuba (more to come on that soon).
This year has kicked off a lot of travelling for me so far, and I’m excited for more upcoming adventures.
Since I’m getting used to spending more time in the airports lately, I’ve teamed up with American Express
to share how to get the most of out of your travel experience and a few tips to help enhance the experience!
I am all about the comfort and convenience when I travel. Here’s how I achieve that…
+ Cozy Layers (I always get cold on the plane, and Canada is still in winter mode, so layering is key!)
+ Headphones (love these cool ones from Frends for listening to music in flight)
+ Oversized Blanket Scarf (doubles as a blanket and a scarf!)
+ Comfy Kicks (Toronto Pearson is a huge airport & a lot of walking is required, stay comfy!)
+ Moisturizer! (combat dry skin airplanes tend to cause)
+ Holy Basil (Tulsi) Tea (calms any flying nerves)
+ A good neck pillow (this one is my favourite)
+ Download free music & books with American Express Entertainment on Cloud 10
There are so many perks when travelling with an American Express Card (moving through line ups
quicker and relaxing in the lounge are just a few to mention I love). The recent perk I’m
particularly excited about is Entertainment on Cloud 10, where American Express is bringing free e-book and music
downloads for travellers visiting Toronto Pearson International Airport (also open to non Card holders,
which is awesome). I love bringing music and books along with me on my travels to pass time,
as my busy schedule doesn’t leave much time to do so, I catch up on plane rides. If I’m travelling for a
longer period of time, I like to pack a few books with me, but since that weighs down my carry-on
it’s so nice to be able to download them on to my tablet now!
The Great Gatsby is one of the books I recently read (love going back to the classics),
and is now one of the titles available to download with Amex’s Entertainment on Cloud 10!
Something to note when travelling, you must download music/books from Cloud10 when you arrive
at Toronto Pearson, so be sure to turn on your Wi-Fi & load a couple on your device while waiting
to board your plane.
Hope these tips make your next travel experience even better than the last!

These are great tips! Traveling comfy is a must especially when the seats on a flight or bus are not the most comfortable in the world. Thanks for sharing!

Glitter Boots & Champagne Flutes
Such a cute look. I'm a big fan of the chunky, medium tight gauge knit sweater. They are perfect for layering w/o making puffy. Not to mention super warm because of the tight gauge. I'm jealous Canada is still privy to the cold temps and lots of snow I assume. Unfortunately NYC is getting warmer and warmer. Fortunate for us, we have a ski house in Vermont and there's plenty of snow. Actually, we're in the car driving up right now. (my boyfriend thinks i'm crazy be blogging in the car). I'm so happy to put on layers and feel as cozy as you look. Btw, that Zara scarf is still my favorite.
