weekend-beauty

I like to pamper myself a little extra on the weekends, especially when I do a lot of shoots during the week. I work from home so I never wear makeup, but on shoots I wear camera-ready makeup and that can do a number on my skin! Here’s what I’ve been loving and using for makeup, hair and skin…

ouai-hair-oil

Hair // Ouai Hair Oil

When I’m at home I like applying oil to my ends and wrapping it up in a bun so it can restore from any heat damage my styling tools cause. I use this hair oil after the shower as well before styling to smooth everything out! I’ve been so curious about this line (admittedly because the Kardashian’s stylist created it and like them or not, their hair game is strong) and it does not disappoint! I found it at Sephora recently in Toronto.

glossier-balmdotcom

Lips // Glossier balmdotcom

Glossier was another beauty line I’ve been dying to try. I’ve only been able to get this product out of their collection shipped to Canada from Net-A-Porter (the Glossier website doesn’t ship internationally yet), but so far I am loving it! It is super hydrating on the lips, but I love that it’s also a skin salve so you can apply it to any dry spots you have. Multi-purpose products are a fave of mine! I carry this with me in my purse at all times.

eye-cream

Eyes // Dr. Hauschka Regenerating Eye Cream

Eye creams have always irritated me, and I haven’t found one until now that I haven’t had an allergic reaction to. This one has clean ingredients, and I just apply it to keep the lines around my eyes filled with hydration. I have had dark circles my whole life (broken capillaries), so I always have to use concealer under my eyes and that can cause more wrinkles. It’s a pricey little bottle, but you don’t need to use very much and I found it at Whole Foods!

tatcha-enzyme-powder

Face // Tatcha Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder

On the weekends, I especially love doing a skin treatment, face masks especially! This was a nice exfoliating treatment, and such a unique product I have never tried before. You have to mix the powder into wet hands to create a creamy foam and then you massage it on to your face. When you’re feeling like you have dry skin, this product will give it a nice lift!

katy-kat-eye

Lashes // Katy Kat Eye Covergirl Mascara

Drugstore mascaras are a huge winner in my books. They always seem to perform just as good, if not better than department store brands. I love the Katy Kat Eye! I like to layer my mascaras (from different brands), I find it lifts my lashes better, and this one, I love.

BITE-BEAUTY

Lips // BITE Multistick in Gelato

These BITE beauty multi-sticks were sent to me last week, and I love that they are multi-purpose as well because you can use them on your eyes, cheeks and lips! Gelato is my favourite shade because I always gravitate toward the nudes.

Hope you had a great weekend lovelies! Here’s to a beautiful new week…xo
