Everything from my playlists, to the clothes I’ve been adding to my cart and the skincare I’m switching over to is ready for spring — the only thing that’s missing is the actual weather. I tend to get over seasons while we’re still in them because I love constant change, but winter is especially one I’m excited to leave behind. I’m currently into redecorating our home to leave those winter textures and add in some colour (the pillow collection continues to grow), life (with lots of plants) and open space to breathe. We did a bunch of spring cleaning earlier in February and it feels SO good to get that out of the way, because when the weather is finally nice, I’d like to be outside enjoying it instead of clearing out the clutter inside. You feel me?

Every morning I wake up and do yoga in my living room on this mat Neal picked up from Costco, but I’m looking for a cute lightweight one I can take out with me if I want to hop into an actual class and fell in love with this one. Speaking of yoga, this brand has become my favourite for yoga/workout clothes! I love their colour palette, fit and styles. I just added these lounge leggings to my cart because they’re the perfect shade for spring and you all know I love a good lounge legging.

Everything I’m inspired by right now is a little vintage, a little boho and Moroccan. You’ll notice a lot of hints of this in our spring makeover posts coming up (still waiting on a few pieces to arrive to shoot it). I’ve always loved Urban Outfitters for cute decorative pillows — they have the most unique designs, textures and work for any colour palette! Something else I’m having fun with is getting back into painting. I fall on and off this because I find myself getting too busy to actually have a little “hobby” but I’m making it more of a priority to include hobbies into my schedule. Painting has always relaxed me and I find it really therapeutic. I’m not an “artist” by any means, it’s just for fun! Having the balcony door open, letting the breeze come through and my brush dancing on a canvas sounds like the perfect relaxing spring day off to me! I found this brush set on Amazon that is such a good deal.

Here’s to sunnier, warmer days ahead of us, until then, I’ll be preparing and curating little things to help enjoy the next season even more! xo
